SHIBUYA

TO DO

  • Medical Clinic - highly recommend not catching multiple illnesses and being bed ridden for days.
  • Takeshita Street - if you want to drink coffee with a ferret .. or a baby pig, this is your street. packed with souvenir and vintage shops, and street food.
  • Omote-Sando - the main shopping strip, with lots of designer and vintage shopping options.
  • Shibuya Sky and Crossing - betting this is already on your list, but worth visiting to see people sprint across the second the lights go green to get their insta pic.
  • Shimokitazawa - I’ve heard this is the go-to district for vintage shopping, but I had to give it a miss as I couldn't walk 100m without wheezing (hot, I know).

TO EAT

  • Gonpachi Nori-Temaki Harajuku - a sushi experience focused on temaki (hand rolling your sushi).
  • Seafood Misaki Shibuya East - delicious sushi. ate here twice; dined in once and for the second time, ate it on the floor of my hotel room as I emerged from my death bed.
